Fluke ii915 Acoustic Imager

The Fluke ii915 Acoustic Imager helps maintenance teams locate compressed air leaks, detect partial discharge and investigate mechanical anomalies using sound imaging.

LeakQ: Locate Leaks And Estimate Their Impact

The microphone array converts sound into a SoundMap overlay on a visible image, helping locate leaks in compressed air, gas, steam and vacuum systems. LeakQ provides a leak-size scale, estimated leak rate and cost estimates, supporting maintenance prioritisation. Estimates depend on the entered operating conditions and the observed source.

PDQ And MecQ Inspection Modes

PDQ helps locate and classify partial discharge sounds for electrical inspection. MecQ supports contactless scanning for mechanical anomalies, including inspections of conveyors and rotating components. Frequency selection and filtering help isolate a sound source in a noisy area; findings should be assessed in the context of the equipment and inspection conditions.

Document Findings And Manage Inspection Records

Asset names, IDs, QR-code identification, photo notes and action annotations help associate findings with equipment. Store blended acoustic/visible images or video, then transfer records via USB-C or supported wireless workflows. The large touchscreen shows sound sources without requiring contact with the inspected component.

Configuration And Selection Notes

This is an acoustic imager. Detection range and quantification vary with source strength, frequency, distance, background noise and operating conditions; it does not measure temperature as a thermal camera does.
