The Fluke Calibration 9144 Metrology Well provides a controlled high-temperature source for calibrating temperature probes in laboratories and industrial facilities.
Calibrate Temperature Sensors And Complete Loops
The 9144 creates a physical temperature environment for PRTs, RTDs and thermocouples, allowing the sensor to be checked together with associated instrumentation. Suitable inserts provide the required fit and immersion. The high-temperature range is useful for industrial probe calibration and comparison measurements.
Stable Operation In The Field
The LCD, dedicated set-point control and visual/audible stability indications help operators determine when to take readings. Published performance addresses stability, axial and radial uniformity, loading and hysteresis, all of which matter when comparing several probes in the block.
Optional Process Readout And Test Documentation
The -P process version adds a reference PRT readout and a user-selectable measurement channel for RTDs, thermocouples or current signals, plus 24 V loop power. It can store up to 20 calibration tests with reference and instrument readings, errors, dates and times. Thermostatic switch testing supports automatic or manually configured sequences. The 1586A Super-DAQ can be used for automated sensor calibration.

The 9144 range is 50 to 660 °C at 23 °C ambient. The wider negative-temperature range quoted for the product family belongs to other models. Specifications other than the temperature range apply at an ambient temperature of 13 to 33 °C. Readout uncertainty and probe uncertainty are separate contributions.
