Rotronic HygroGen2 HG2-S Humidity Calibrator

The Rotronic HygroGen2 HG2-S Humidity Calibrator generates a controlled humidity and temperature environment for calibrating humidity probes.

Stable Conditions For Multi-Point Calibration

The HG2-S generates controlled humidity and temperature conditions for comparison calibration of humidity instruments. Rapid set-point changes and low gradients support multi-point procedures. Its portable design permits laboratory use or setup near an installed measurement system, with a suitable reference instrument used to establish calibration results.

Chamber, Water System And Interfaces

The chamber provides a 2 litre total volume and approximately 1.5 litres of effective working space. A front-fill saturator and on-screen water level indication support routine operation. Use distilled or deionised water and maintain the molecular-sieve desiccant as required. USB and Ethernet connections support compatible probes and integration workflows.

Optional Automation And Range Extensions

AutoCal can automate supported Rotronic HC2 probe calibration via AC3001 USB service cables, adjust one temperature and ten humidity points and generate individual PDF calibration certificates. Its programming supports up to 20 programs with 200 set points each. Optional range extensions widen the control limits; remote screen sharing and a TCP/IP API are separate features for system integration.

Configuration And Selection Notes

Control stability, spatial gradients, reference accuracy and probe uncertainty are different contributions. Extended ranges, AutoCal and remote functions require the relevant options; the larger HygroGen2-XL chamber is a different model.
