Hioki PQ3198 Power Quality Analyser

The Hioki PQ3198 Power Quality Analyser records electrical disturbances and power quality trends for investigation of supply problems.

Capture Events And Trends Together

The PQ3198 records power trends alongside event waveforms, helping correlate supply disturbances with equipment problems. Preset configurations and an automatic wiring check simplify setup. It measures voltage, current, power, frequency, harmonics, flicker, inrush and unbalance, as well as dips, swells and interruptions.

Investigate Fast Transients And Supraharmonics

Transient capture up to 6,000 V peak with 2 MS/s sampling supports investigation of short events. Supraharmonic measurement from 2 to 80 kHz extends analysis into noise associated with switching power electronics. The isolated fourth voltage channel permits a second circuit to be measured alongside the main three-phase circuit for power and efficiency comparisons.

Analysis, Reporting And Remote Monitoring

PQ ONE provides event statistics, graphs, ITIC curves and power-quality reports, with CSV and PQDIF export. Supported functions include EN 50160 evaluation and IEEE 519 harmonic reporting. GENNECT One supports compatible remote monitoring workflows, and the optional PW9005 GPS arrangement aligns timestamps for measurements at different locations.
