Its 500 VA rating suits smaller loads within the available current limits. It is part of the 8500 Series, which includes higher-power models; those ratings do not apply to the 8505.
Manual, Standard And Advanced Feature Packages
Manual mode provides direct AC-source operation. Standard and Advanced packages add supported remote-control functions. Advanced mode includes sequence capabilities for voltage/frequency sweeps, transients and DC bias, supporting simulation of selected supply abnormalities. Specify the required package rather than assuming every programmable feature is included in the base unit.
